No – many experiences like go-karting, ziplining or tandem flights do not require prior knowledge. For canyoning & via ferratas, sure-footedness is helpful.

For ziplining and paragliding, you don't need special athleticism – but fear of heights should not be too pronounced. For via ferratas, being free from vertigo and sure-footedness is a prerequisite. However, there are also beginner-friendly via ferratas in the region.

On guided tours, all equipment (neoprene, helmet, climbing harness, etc.) is provided. Your own sturdy shoes with good grip are usually required. For independent via ferrata climbing: climbing harness, via ferrata set, helmet, gloves, and good shoes.
