Cows on the Alpine Pasture - How to Behave
Grazing animals are usually curious but not aggressive. To ensure good coexistence on the alpine pastures – especially with dogs – the following applies: be considerate, act proactively, and pay attention to local signs. Keep your distance, do not feed, keep your dog on a leash, do not cross fences or barriers, do not walk directly through the herd, behave calmly, do not take selfies.
Well prepared is half hiked
Please choose your tours realistically and adjust the route to your fitness level, the age of the children, and experience. Especially in the mountains, the weather can change quickly – a check before starting is mandatory. Sturdy shoes, rain protection, sufficient water, and sun protection belong in every backpack.
