Experience Dachstein
The highlight of the whole year
The Dachstein
The Dachstein is more than just a mountain – it is a stage, a natural wonder, and a place of longing. In summer, you can expect glacier panoramas, a suspension bridge & skywalk, climbing routes, and hiking trails. In winter, the Dachstein is a retreat for cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers, and sun-seekers.
Whether at the top of the glacier or down in Ramsau – the Dachstein is part of every vacation.
Summer on the Dachstein
Those vacationing in Schladming cannot miss the Dachstein – and they don't want to. The ride on the spectacular panorama cable car takes you to over 2,700 meters, right into a world of ice, rock, and endless views.
Whether you walk over the suspension bridge to the “Stairway to Nothingness,” discover the Ice Palace, or experience the sunrise over the Ennstal – the experiences at Dachstein are as grand as the mountain itself.
For via ferrata fans, famous routes like Anna, Johann, or the Dachstein Shoulder await, and for families, an unforgettable glacier day with skywalk, photo spots, and snowball fights in summer.
